These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the My Buddha mobile application ("App") operated by Silent Blossom SpA ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Chile. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using My Buddha, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

My Buddha is a meditation and mindfulness application that provides guided meditation sessions, ambient soundscapes, a structured spiritual progression system, and an AI-powered conversational guide. The App is available on Android via Google Play Store.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free and Premium Tiers

My Buddha offers both free content and a premium subscription ("My Buddha Premium"). Free users have access to limited meditation sessions and features. Premium subscribers unlock the full library of meditations, soundscapes, and AI guide functionality.

Pricing

Premium subscriptions are available at $7.99 USD per month or $49.99 USD per year. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with prior notice.

Billing

All payments are processed through Google Play. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account settings.

Refunds

Refund policies are governed by Google Play's terms. We recommend contacting Google Play support for refund requests. We may offer refunds at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.

5. AI Spiritual Guide

The AI spiritual guide feature is powered by third-party artificial intelligence technology. While we strive to provide meaningful and accurate spiritual guidance, you acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, therapy, or medical treatment
  • Responses are generated algorithmically and may not always be accurate or appropriate
  • You should not rely on the AI guide for decisions regarding your health, safety, or wellbeing
  • If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the AI guide to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Interfere with the App's operation or security
  • Use automated systems to access the App beyond normal use

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including meditations, soundscapes, graphics, text, UI design, and software — is the property of Silent Blossom SpA or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Meditation and spiritual guidance content is provided for general wellness purposes only and does not constitute medical or psychological advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Silent Blossom SpA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify premium subscribers of significant changes that affect their subscription.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Santiago, Chile.
